FENDER Champ Lap Steel circa 1963 vintage

FENDER Champ circa 1960s Lap Steel Guitar. Super cool little slide-O-rama here! These guitars were made as I read, from late 50s into mid 60s. I can find no serial number on this, but I did some dating by pot codes, and one pot dates 1962, and the other I can see the whole number dates December of 1963. Black tolex case is in good shape, and I know not if it is original to the instrument or not. Knobs look kinda new to me, as do the tuning buttons (plastic part) and that would not be uncommon for those to have been broken and chipping at some point and replaced. Electronics of pickup, tone and volume, are working and sounds really good to me. That said, See the photos and let me know if you got questions.
